A Hollywood production company is threating the legendary Southamtpon pub The Hobbit with legal actions if they don’t rebrand their pub. This is due to the production company’s “ownership” of the brand The Hobbit, and the new film that’ll be released later this year.

As a Tolkien fan, I was really looking forward to this film, but the petiness of this makes me so disappointed.
This pub has existed for over 20 years, the book and its characters for over 70 years. This film will be released in 2012.
